Case: Due to the extensive forces and vibrations that down hole tools must endure during drilling and milling operations, the customer wanted to implement the TTC connection to fix the stabilizers on to the tools. The benefits:

• Extreme torque capacity clockwise and counter clockwise (example: +80kNm / +59kftlb on a 5inch tool)

• No loose parts like set screws or similar locking devices

• High axial load capacity (example: +200tons / +440klb on a 5inch tool) 

• Easy make and brake without need for rotation or heavy equipment
